This week our parish office renovation/expansion project begins in the Palermo building. For the next six weeks, our temporary RE and front office will be in the Parish Hall. Please follow the signs around campus that will direct you to the temporary offices. Esta semana comienza nuestro proyecto de renovación/ampliación de la oficina parroquial en el edificio Palermo. Durante las próximas seis semanas, nuestras oficinas de educación religiosa y la oficina principal estarán en el Salón Parroquial. Did you know that we have a nursery available for children age 4 and under at Sunday 12PM Mass. Childcare will be in the Palermo Center in the Nursery room. We are limiting the number of children to 10. Drop off is 15 minutes prior to Mass with pick up after Mass. Contact Mary Jackson ([email protected]) for more information.

Fr. Alberto is our new parochial vicar who just joined St. Albert the Great. We asked him some questions to get to know him.  If you haven’t met him yet, please welcome him after Mass!

He answered that it had been suggested to him by some people, but all he wanted was to celebrate mass as reverently as possible. We hope Fr. Michael’s voice can put a smile on your face today. We are excited to share that Fr. Alberto has arrived! He will be celebrating all Spanish Masses this weekend. You will also start seeing him co-celebrate daily Masses from time to time. Please give him a warm welcome when you see him! ¡Estamos muy emocionados de compartir que el Padre Alberto ha llegado! Celebrará todas las misas en español este fin de semana. También empezarán a verlo co-celebrando misas diarias de vez en cuando. Por favor denle una calurosa bienvenida cuando lo vean.

Bishop Vasquez has assigned Fr. Alberto Garcia to St. Albert the Great as our new parochial vicar. Fr. Alberto is a Diocesan priest from the Diocese of Cuernavaca, Mexico and is serving in the Diocese of Austin for a few years. This is part of a new cooperative effort between the Diocese of Austin and the Diocese of Cuernavaca. Fr. Alberto is arriving on Tuesday, January 28th. Please join us in welcoming Fr. Alberto to St. Albert the Great. El Obispo Vasquez ha asignado al Padre Alberto Garcia a San Alberto Magno como nuestro nuevo vicario parroquial. El Padre Alberto es un sacerdote Diocesano de la Diócesis de Cuernavaca, México y está sirviendo en la Diócesis de Austin por algunos años. Esto es parte de un nuevo esfuerzo de cooperación entre la Diócesis de Austin y la Diócesis de Cuernavaca. El Padre Alberto llegará el martes 28 de enero. The KC's will have a BBQ fundraiser on January 26th after all the Sunday Masses. Place orders online at www.StAlsKC.com. There will be a drive-thru for order pickup at the end of the covered walkway. There will also be onsite sales as long as supplies last. All KC proceeds will benefit St. Vincent de Paul and Youth Scholarships. The St. Al's Gals will be selling sides and desserts, and their sales will benefit the Youth Ministry Conferences.

Parish-wide Stuff the Truck: 1/25-26 Parish-wide Stuff the Truck! Are you looking for somewhere to donate your gently used items? Christmas break might be the perfect time to get those items ready for our upcoming Stuff the Truck event January 25-26.  All items will go to the SVDP Thrift Store.
