Knights of Columbus Free Turkey Smoke 

The Knights are again hosting our annual FREE turkey smoke in appreciation for the parish's continued support of our KC fundraisers. You bring your bird and we smoke it for you at no charge (donations accepted) on Wednesday, November 21 , 2018, the day before Thanksgiving. 

Important instructions: 
I. Turkeys must be completely thawed, cleaned
(gizzards/necks removed), unstuffed, and fully prepared
(seasoned as you wish) to smoke. FROZEN TURKEYS NOT ACCEPTED! It takes 4 days to thaw a 20 lb. tur­key in the refrigerator.

2.    Turkeys must be dropped off between 6: l 5 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. . No birds after 7 a.m. please. You will receive a numbered pick up card so we can get your back to you.
3.    Smoking time runs from 7 a.m. till 3 - 3:30 p.m. Big birds take a little longer.
4.    You must furnish a tray/pan that will allow us to package your hot, smoky skinned bird for you or your rep­resentative to pick up. Bring your pick up pan when you bring the bird- save your car's interior.
5.    Pick up time is from 3: 15 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. If your bird is 1516+ come closer to 4 p.m. Turkeys must be picked up no later than 4:00 p.m. Any not picked up by 4 p.m. are considered available to anyone who wants it. Call 512-796 -2526 if running late.
6.    If you are considering donating a bird to charity you must pick it up and donate it yourself.
7.    Space is limited and done on a first come/first served basis.
